Victron Energy Battery Switch On/Off 275A
The Victron Energy ON/OFF battery switch is rated at 275A (continuous) and can be used to isolate a battery from DC loads and/or DC charging sources in systems up to 48V DC. It is useful for the isolation of batteries in an emergency, for removing power for maintenance purposes, or for preventing parasitic battery drain when a vehicle is unattended. It can also be used to parallel connect a leisure/house battery to a starter battery for engine starting in case of an emergency.
The chunky ergonomic knob is easy to use and can be removed for security or safety purposes. The switch meets ISO8846 Ignition Protection standard so is safe to use in engine rooms on boats.
It can be either surface or panel mounted, providing flexibility during installation, and four removable side panels provide cable entry options on all sides of the housing. Fixings are supplied.
This unit comes complete with a 16 piece label sheet, enabling you to customise it and identify multiple switches.
Ideal for use in campervans, motorhomes, boats and off-grid applications.
